Mr David Nott started his medical career at St Andrews University in 1975. He then completed three years at Manchester University where he then completed
his degree, MB, ChB.

Mr Nott then completed his two year finals in the Royal College of Surgeons England to obtain his fellowship. He then re-attended Manchester University to complete his MD.

Mr David Nott is currently a Consultant at the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, Consultant Vascular Surgeon at the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Trust, Honorary Consultant Surgeon at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Surgery at the University of London.

Mr Nott has produced over 100 papers on various aspects of General & Vascular surgery.

Mr Nott's main interests include Endoscopic & Laparoscopic surgery. Mr Nott was the first surgeon in the world to perform a totally laparoscopic & endoscopic arterial bypass for severe arterial insufficiency in the leg and the first surgeon in Europe to perform a laparoscopically assisted aortic aneurysm repair.

Mr Nott is also the holder of an Airline transport pilot licence(A), a Helicopter Licence and is a qualified flying instructor.
